Prior to accepting his current position of CEO in 2010, Steven Levy served as an active member of the Verivo’s Board of Directors. As CEO, he has led the company in dramatic growth, increased product investment, and expanded the reach of sales. Levy’s ability to create new revenue models, extend the company’s business offerings, and identify new market expansion opportunities allows Verivo to thrive.
Before joining the company, Levy co-founded and served as CEO of Macgregor Group Inc., an order management system provider, for 15 years. He eventually led the sale of the software firm to ITG for approximately $250 million. Levy holds a BS in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering and an MS in Artificial Intelligence from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Todd Christy is responsible for product development and corporate strategy. With more than 20 years of technology leadership experience, Christy has worked with many global companies, delivering enterprise-class wireless solutions to meet their mobile computing needs.
Prior to founding Verivo, Christy was a senior technology manager in Accenture’s Financial Services division where he focused on the management and implementation of technology projects, leading large teams of clients and consultants through complex system engagements. Christy was awarded Institutional Investor’s “Online Finance 40” distinction in 2008, and was recognized by the Boston Business Journal as one of the “Top 40 Under 40” business leaders in Boston. Under his direction, Verivo has been honored twice as one of Boston’s Best Places to Work.

Travis Connors joined Egan-Managed Capital in June of 2000. As a partner, Connors spends his time evaluating new business opportunities and working closely with Centerstone Software, ChipWrights, IntelliVid and Webevent. Connors previously served on the board of directors of AllVertical.
Prior to joining Egan-Managed Capital, Connors was an associate in Merrill Lynch’s technology investment banking group. At Merrill Lynch, Connors was involved with both public and private financings as well as M & A activities within several sub-sectors of the technology industry. Travis Connors is a graduate of Connecticut College with a BA in Economics, and earned his MBA from the Columbia Graduate School of Business.

Brian Girvan joined Ascent in August 2003 as Partner and Chief Financial and Administrative Officer. Girvan has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, including most recently as COO and CFO of Argo Global Capital, a $400 million venture capital firm in Wakefield, MA.
Girvan previously worked as a senior executive in several roles at Fidelity Investments, including Senior Vice President and CFO of their retail division, CFO of their intermediary-based mutual funds division, and Senior Vice President and Division Executive of their institutional brokerage division. Additionally, Girvan was Senior Vice President, CFO, and Treasurer of Affiliated Managers Group, a publicly held investment management firm with over $70 billion in managed assets. Current directorships include: Placemark Investments, Bluesock, Inc., Verivo, and North Track Mutual Funds. Girvan is a CPA, and received a BS (BBA) in accounting from Manhattan College in Riverdale, New York.
Jeffrey M. Hurst is a general partner and a co-founder of Commonwealth Capital Ventures. Jeff has more than 20 years of venture capital and private equity experience. He has experience in the communications infrastructure, information technology, and analytical systems industries.
Before co-founding Commonwealth in 1995, Jeff was a senior vice president with GE Capital’s Corporate Finance Group. Jeff previously served as a managing partner of Cox Partners, a private equity firm, after starting his career with Bankers Trust Company.
Jeff is a Trustee of The New England Aquarium.
