Enterprise Software Sales Rep. (San Francisco Bay Area)
Verivo Software is seeking a top-performing field sales representative in the Pacific Northwest region. The mobile applications market is growing at a torrid pace. The Verivo platform is used by more than 100 organizations to build, deploy, manage and serve business-to-employee and business-to- consumer mobile applications. We are looking for a highly motivated, new business hunter to join our team and help us grow to the next level. Success in this role is defined by the achievement of quota for the territory, primarily through the acquisition of new customers. Job responsibilities for this position include all aspects of sales cycle management, including:
Responsibilities include:
- Achieving/exceeding quarterly sales goals through the direct sale of our mobile app platform software to enterprises in the assigned territory
- Identifying and qualifying high-value sales opportunities through aggressive cold-call prospecting, networking and lead follow up
- Effectively presenting Verivo’s value proposition at various levels within the an organization (business, technical, executive)
- Utilize sales strategies that leverage existing relationships to expand enterprise penetration
- Negotiate with prospects on a variety of business, financial, and delivery-related issues
- Maintain accurate and timely forecasts of sales opportunities for the current and next quarter, and up to date records of sales activity by opportunity in our CRM system
- Effectively utilize all available company resources, as necessary, in support of driving qualified sales opportunities to closure
- Provide ongoing competitive and market feedback to the company to inform product development and company positioning
- Overnight travel of approximately 25%
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience selling enterprise software solutions.
- A demonstrated track record of over-performance relative to assigned goals and company peers, as well as a history of progressive sales achievement
- Extremely strong drive and self-motivation to over achieve goals
- Proficient in prospecting, qualifying, developing, managing and closing business with complex sales cycles
- Demonstrated ability to gain access to and develop trusted-advisor relationships with C-level executives
- Strong understanding of key technology concepts required to sell complex solutions to IT professionals
- Ability to understand business issues and to clearly articulate how Pyxis Mobile’s solutions address them
- Skilled in negotiating business terms with senior management/C-level executives
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills including expertise with Microsoft Office (Email, Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
- BA/BS or equivalent
- Experience with salesforce.com or other sales force automation tools a plus.
